Sarah Fuson
As a native British Columbian, my roots are grounded in the rolling hills of the Okanagan Valley. Raised with a deep passion for fitness and health, my journey toward complete body wellness began at the age of sixteen. I started teaching freestyle dance to connect creativity with the fluidity of the body, nurturing my desire to help others find movement and expression.
Through my travels, I gained a deeper respect for yoga, studying Interdisciplinary Yoga under Don and Amba Stapleton at the Nosara Yoga Institute. My search for a deeper understanding of the body’s mechanics led me to acclaimed YogaWorks instructor Gerhard Gessner, whose teachings shaped my approach to yoga as a lifestyle promoting longevity and balance.
Having taught yoga for 14 years, I bring a unique perspective to my practice, combining my fitness background with yoga’s ancient wisdom. As a corporate professional with a thriving career in property management, I understand the demands of deadlines, stress, and the importance of balancing work-life priorities. My dynamic teaching style motivates students to tap into their fullest potential, discover self-assurance, and embrace movement as a path to wellness.
I currently reside in Vancouver, BC, and teach at various YYoga locations.
